Symptoms
Deleted series of recurring event are not displayed properly in outlook connector of the invitee.
OC 7.3.119.2 on Outlook 2007
CalDav server 7u1-3.14 (patch 142785-03)
UserA invites UserB for a recurring event, for example daily, recurring for 5
consecutive days. After creation of this event, it appears in the calendar of both UserA and UserB.
UserA deletes this recurring event for his calendar, UserA clicks on delete
when the first occurrence is highlighted, and select the series (so not just
one instance). After confirming, the recurring event is gone from the
calendar of UserA. For UserB, the recurring event is still there. UserB did
receive an email of the cancellation, only when UserB reads this mail, the
recurring event in the calendar is now marked as Cancelled.
But when UserB does an Empty and resync, or deletes the local .pst file, the event is there again. OC seems the have difficulties interpreting the info received from the calendar server.
Note : when UserA deletes only an instance from the recurring event, this is
displayed properly in the calendar of UserB, so it's only when the complete
series is deleted.
