Standard FTP Process Hangs When Using Straight Term with Mid Period Repricing (Doc ID 1437789.1)

Symptoms

On Oracle Financial Services Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) 5.6, the Standard FTP Process hangs when using Straight Term with Mid Period Repricing. Believe the cause of the issue to be null value in the REPRICE_FREQ_MULT.

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
FTP process remains in Ongoing status and does not complete. ofstp process remains running on the application server and must be killed. Log file ends abruptly with the last statement:

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Expect the process to fail with error message written to FSI_PROCESS_ERRORS.

Issue only occurs using Straight Term with mid period repricing. Without Mid Period repricing and with not null value in REPRICE_FREQ_MULT, issue does not appear.

The issue can be reproduced at will on AIX server with the following steps:

1. Enter null value in REPRICE_FREQ_MULT for instrument record.
2. Choose Straight Term FTP methodology with Mid Period Repricing
3. Run FTP Standard Process
