The PI CCSCD1=ADD Command Fails with Error "NACK:6-PROVIDER Is null" (Doc ID 1446327.1)

When running PI (Provisioning Interface) commands against a Network Charging and Control installation which has been rolled back from the 4.4.1 version, the PI no longer accepts CCSCD1=ADD commands without specifying the Provider.

A PI command such as the following which used to complete successfully:


A recent rollback of a Network Charging and Control upgrade.

The problem described in this article should not happen under normal operational circumstances.
