When Running a Billable Event on a Wallet With Insufficient Funds through the Provisioning Interface, the EDR is written with CS=S (Doc ID 1447882.1)

Last updated on MARCH 01, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 4.4.1 to 4.4.1 [Release 4.4]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After Upgrading to NCC 4.4.1.0.0, when running a billable event in a scenario where there are not enough funds on the wallet through the Provisioning Interface (PI), the EDR is written with CS=S.

This is misleading as the screens users and EDRs post-processors will be presented a Call Status = S (Success) in the Event Data Record (EDR) even though the Billable Event failed.

Changes

Recent upgrade to Network Charging and Control 4.4.1.0.0.
