Profitability Management Interface and Processes Hang After Several Days of User Activity

Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA)
In Oracle Financial Services Profitability Management (PFT) 5.6, after a certain period of time using the interface (ex. several days), users either cannot save their Allocations or the Allocation save is very slow. Additionally, the Allocation processes are extremely slow or hang.
There are many users performing actions in Profitability Management.
The following error is found repeatedly in the FUSIONSUBSYSTEMSService.log in the web server:
[FUSIONSUBSYSTEMS] Jan 24,12 10:33:35 : [CONNECTIONS]
javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: Name "jdbc/FSGBU" not found in context "java:comp/env".
Additionally, you find there are many inactive sessions in the Oracle database from JDBC THIN CLIENT.
If all of the OFSAA server processes are stopped and re-started, the problem is resolved but it occurs again after a certain period of time.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Go to Profitability Management
- Go to Rule Specification > Allocation Specification
- Edit an Allocation and Save
The Save is very slow or never completes.
