Convergence 2-3.01 on Solaris 10 with S/MIME
S/MIME is working fine in Firefox when accessing the direct URL for webmail: https://host.example.com
However, it hangs at 15% User preferences when launched through our portal which is: https://example.com
The last request is for https://host.example.com/iwc_static/js/iwc/packages/CalendarImMailSmime.js?0201_121832 which completes, but no requests follow. Using the web console of Firefox, the following error is seen which seems to elude to some sort of cross-site security measure in Firefox:
[19:03:05.114] failed loading ../js/dojotoolkit/dojo/../../iwc/packages/CalendarImMailSmime.js with error: Error: Permission denied to access property 'applet_initialized' @ https://host.example.com/iwc_static/js/dojotoolkit/dojo/dojo.js?02.01_121832:16
It seems Firefox hangs when loading S/MIME when Convergence is launched from a different sub-domain (www.example.com versus host.example.com).
Convergence (with S/MIME) is now being loaded from a portal page, using Firefox as browser.
