Last updated on AUGUST 07, 2015

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Point-of-Service - Version 13.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

In Oracle Retail Point Of Service (ORPOS) find that tax calculation is incorrect for Min-Max tax rule. For example if we have a threshold tax where tax is 4.625 % for clothing under $110 and 8.625% for clothing over $110. The tax rings correctly for items under $110 but incorrectly for item at $110 or over.

1. Run sql script below to set up Min-Max tax rule:

Steps To Reproduce:

1. Ring item 924 having price $20. [Tax of $1 is correctly calculated]
2. Price Override of item 924 to $60. [Wrong tax is calculated]

Actual Result : Tax of $6.60 is wrongly calculated.
Expected Result : Tax of $3.60 must be applied as per Min-Max tax rule.
