(Doc ID 1454689.1)
Last updated on FEBRUARY 14, 2024
Applies to:
Oracle Communications Convergence - Version 2.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
The issue is experienced when running init-config or when installing a Convergence patch. It tries to connect to the GlassFish server over secure port 4848. However, the default self-signed certificates have been replaced with our own new certificate. Hence, the utility or post-installation patch script waits on an SSL certificate warning, hanging indefinitely.
Example:
Changes
Convergence configuration only worked once with the default certificates which get generated when the Glassfish server is installed. Subsequently, it fails since those certificates were over-written with our own certificates (directory: /opt/SUNWappserver/domains/domain1/config).
