In UIM, Can Search Entity By Characteristic Deleted In BI (Doc ID 1457911.1)

Symptoms

Entity can be searched by Characteristic even if the characteristic value is deleted in a BI. Consider the following scenario:

  1. Create an Entity in Live.
  2. Enter the Value for Characteristic associated to Entity.
  3. Create a Business Interaction.
  4. Search for the Entity created above in Business Interaction.
  5. Delete the Characteristic Value for the above entity within the Business Interaction.
  6. Complete the Business Interaction.
  7. Now search for the Entity in Live using the same Characteristic & system will result in the Entity created above.
