Goal
Calendar Server 6.3 (CS6) with patch 121657-52 and Calendar Server 7 (CS7) with patch 142785-06
Convergence 2 with patch 145711-04
We are using a front-end / back-end scenario for our CS6 deployment.
Per the steps outlined here in the documentation, there are changes that need to be made within the CS6 ics.conf file for CS6 and CS7 coexistence.
For our scenario (with the front-end / back-end), where would these changes need to take place - ie. on the front-ends or back-ends (or both)? We are asking this because we are not clear on the functionality between a CS6 and CS7 coexistence configuration. For example, if a CS6 user were to invite a CS7 user to an event, is the event supposed to show up in the CS7 user's calendar and vise versa (ie. if the CS7 user invited a CS6 user)? Currently, we noticed that the CS7 user receives the invitation, but, does not see the event on their calendar.
