Could not properly discover bundle ethernet interfaces and subinterfaces (Doc ID 1459421.1)

Symptoms

The customer had an issue where they could not discover a ethernet bundle interface and subinterface without compromising the structure of the interface layout, they would either have to hide the Gigabit or TenGigabit parent interfaces. The hierachy looked like this

 

Gigabit Main --> Bundle Main --> Bundle Subinterface

TenGigabit Main --> Bundle Main --> Bundle Subinterface

 

In most cases the Gigabit interfaces or their direct Gigabit Subinterfaces were in use, so hiding these meant that interface could go missing.
