RWMS Inventory Adjustment Gets Stuck In RMS With Error "The Adjustment Quantity Is Greater Than The Quantity Received"

When attempting to delete an item from a container in RWMS (Retail Warehouse Management system) , the message to RMS (Retail Merchandising System) is failing with the following error



The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps.
1. Receive an Item through a PO (Purchase Order) in RWMS
2. Increase the Inventory of that item in RWMS through the using Inventory Edit by Container screen
3. Check that the item quantity has increases in RMS
4. Delete the item from the Container and check the RIB message to RMS to find that it has failed with the following error
"RMSSUB_INVADJUST.CONSUME(?,?,?,?)}: [E] The adjustment quantity is greater than the quantity received. ORA-0000: normal, successful completion DISTRIBUTION_SQL.DISTRIBUTE_ORDRCV_ADJ 0"
