To Do Entry Not Displayed In Batch Run Tree (Doc ID 1462125.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 27, 2012

Applies to:

Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing - Version 2.3.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 2.3.1 version, TD - To Do

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
In 2.3.1, To Do Entry is not displayed in the Batch Run Tree if the Creation Process field in the To Do Type is not populated. This happens even if the Batch Control and Batch Number fields are populated in the To Do Entry.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
In 2.1, even if the Creation Process field in the To Do Type is not populated, the To Do Entry is still displayed in the Batch Run Tree as long as the Batch Control and Batch Number fields are populated.

STEPS
-----------------------
To replicate the issue, run a Batch in 2.1 that will create a To Do Entry. Check the Batch Run Tree and you will see a link to the To Do Entry. Go to the To Do Type, then set the Creation Process field to blank. Go back to the Batch Run Tree, you will still see the link for the To Do Entry.

Repeat the same steps in 2.3.1, but this time you will notice that when you go back to the Batch Run Tree, you won't see the link anymore.
