Want Some Information On Lot # Check Marks On Product Tab (Doc ID 1462610.1)

Goal

It seems if a user selects the lot # (Product Tab > dosage regimen) from the look up list you get an orange check mark. However, if the user enters the whole lot number and it is a match, you automatically get a green check mark.

Is there a reason for the 2 different colors since both we have valid lot numbers in both scenario's
