Last updated on FEBRUARY 27, 2019

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

This problem was reported on Calendar 7.2-6.11 with Convergence 2 p4.

  1. A Calendar user "<uid>" owns a resource calendar, and is subscribed to it.
  2. In Convergence 2, the user has this resource calendar in the "My calendars" section.
  3. Clicking right on this resource calendar, the user goes to the "Share" menu option.

The "User Access Permissions" shows e.g.:

    Anyone : Read
    <username@domain.com>: Owner

    Command line shows:

    davadmin calendar list -n calendar -a <calendar ID>
    ...
    ACL: @:r;<username@domain.com>:a
    ...

  4. Next, the user changes the User Access Permissions on "Anyone" from "Read" to "None".
  5. After logging out and logging in to Convergence, the user no longer sees the resource calendar in the 'My Calendars' section.

    And command line now shows:

    davadmin calendar list -n calendar -a <calendar ID>
    ...
    ACL: <username@domain.com>:n
    ...
