Fn_ledgerDataLoader Fails If No Rows Exist in STG_GL_DATA (Doc ID 1466026.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.
Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA)

In Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA), you are running your processing cycle batches.  One of the first tasks runs a batch that executes fn_ledgerDataLoader for a Type 3 Ledger Stat Load for data in STG_GL_DATA.  When there are no rows in STG_GL_DATA, the task and the batch fail.  This failure stops the processing cycle.

You do not expect this batch to end with an error if zero rows are found in STG_GL_DATA.  You think if there is no data to load into STG_GL_DATA for this process, the task and batch should end normally and continue processing.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create a new Batch and Task to run the TRANSFORM DATA program fn_ledgerDataLoader
  2. Verify the STG_GL_DATA table contains 0 rows.
  3. Execute the Batch

The task ends in a failure and stops the batch.
