Updating Equipment Specification Using Corba API

Goal
The user wants to update a part number of for equipment using the MSS Corba API through the Discrepancy Resolution Processor in the NI7 cartridge. Please note that specifications for all the supported part numbers would already exist in MSS.
Assuming part number 1 is associated with specification "A" and part number 2 is associated with specification "B" and both these specifications are already created in MSS. We get one discrepancy in equipment whose part number is 1 and the requirement here is to change it to 2. To achieve this, One needs to change its associated specification from "A" to "B" through the MSS Corba API.
Is there any MSS Corba API to do that ?
