Purpose

The purpose of this reference is to provide the System Administrators monitoring the upkeep of Oracle Media Intellectual Property Management software, with the information pertinent to the steps involved in application of a patch on their respective environment(s).

Scope

The scope of this reference documentation is limited to the application of available patches for OMIPM. It is essential that the individual performing this activity has all the necessary accesses/permissions/privileges to connect to:

1. The hardware hosting the Weblogic server where OMIPM application has been deployed.
2.  The database (username/password) hosting the OMIPM schema.
