WebService Invocation of Supplier/Site is Failing Because Input XML Does not Have the <Addr_Xref_Key> (Doc ID 1469636.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 27, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Merchandising System - Version 13.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

WebService Invocation of Supplier/Site was introduced in RMS as part of the 13.2.4 release. Check the Note 1456707.1.

Now after the code changes, while invoking the RMS webservice with a supplier message, InputVariableUpdateRetailCollectionABMWSDL is returning failed response with the below error :

Steps to recreate :

1. If user removes the code-changes, the above error will not occur. The Webservice invocation is returning successfully, even with the same data. But with this, the original issue still persists.

2. The above error will occur if the input XML does not have the <Addr_Xref_Key>, but this should come as blank from the AIA side as per the BypassAddressIDXref (which should be 'Y')

As part of the code changes performed in RMS fix, RMS is mandating the <Addr_Xref_Key>
Note that <Addr_Xref_Key> is "Optional" as per our Retail SupplierSevice.wsdl payload structures.

There are no changes from AIA side. All mandatory patches from AIA side are applied.
