Purpose
This document provides information on how to configure Service Handover to minimize profile block overwrites and profile tag changes going missing in a multi-session environment.
Scope
This information can be used by customers and Oracle staff configuring mobile services that change profile tag values.
Knowledge of UNIX, Solaris, the Network Charging & Control (NCC) platform, profile tags, control plans, service configuration, terminology and PrePaid Mobile concepts is required to make use of this information.
The "Service Handover" workaround detailed here should not be used if the ACS EDRs are needed for billing or other purposes.
