Running Queries Via Software Development Kit (SDK) Always Returns "0 Rows" but Same User Running Same Search Manually Returns Correct Rows when the User's Preference Setting for 'Include Inactive List Values' is Set to No. (Doc ID 1473191.1)

Oracle Agile PLM Framework - Version to [Release 9.3]

When attempting to run an SDK or Process Extension (PX) that runs different queries and returns the number of rows returned it does not show the same results compared to if the user ran them manually when the user's preference setting for 'Include Inactive List Values' is set to No.

What is working:
Works correctly if calling a saved global search via SDK/PX.  Also, if the same user runs the same search manually in the UI.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. In Agile, go to the test users who have sufficient privileges to run these searches and go to their Preferences tab and set 'Include Inactive List Values' to No.

2. Create an SDK/PX that runs different types of queries similar to the below and print out the rows returned:

A. String sqlselect = "SELECT " +

"[Title Block.Number] " +
"FROM " +
"[Parts] " +
"WHERE " +
"[Title Block.Number] starts with 'P'";

B. IQuery query = (IQuery)session.getObject(IQuery.OBJECT_TYPE,"/Global Searches/P Items");

3. Run the SDK/PX and see that the output for A is 0 which is incorrect and B returns the correct results.
4. If the user then tries to run the search manually it returns the correct amount of rows.
