INCONSISTENCIES IN BREAK_FUNDING_AMT CALCULATION USING CUR_BOOK_BAL
(Doc ID 1473551.1)
Last updated on MARCH 05, 2019
Applies to:
Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications Infrastructure - Version 7.2.10 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
FTP 5.6 engine is calculating the correct break_funding_mv for the inputs
given (provided the correct principal balance value is provided in the
cur_par_bal field). However, the break_funding_amt and break_funding_rate
which have their values derived by referring to the break_funding_mv and a
principal value aren't self consistent unless cur_book_bal and cur_par_bal
are equal.
In order for the break_funding_amt to be correct, there is a requirement for
cur_book_bal to equal cur_par_bal. This is not always the case, and in
circumstances where it is not, then the break_funding_amt will be incorrect
in relation to the calculated break_funding_mv.
The values in all 3 fields should refer to the same principal field.
