Cannot Delete Items like Time Buckets, Behavior Patterns, Product Profiles, Etc. in ALM (Doc ID 1473843.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Financial Services Asset Liability Management (ALM) 5.6, you cannot delete items from the ALM interface.  For example, you cannot delete a Time Bucket definition you created earlier.  When you go to ALM Maintenance > Time Buckets, select a Time Bucket, and click the Delete icon, you get the following message:

Error while loading the page.

The following error messages appear in the fsapps.log within the Tomcat/Weblogic/Websphere directory:

The same problem occurs when deleting other objects like Behavior Patterns and Product Profiles.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Go to Asset Liability Management
  2. Go to ALM Maintenance > Time Buckets
  3. Select a Time Bucket and click the Delete icon.

The error appears.
