Information in this document applies to any platform.
On OpenSAFfire 6.1.0 and 6.2.0, when attempting to open a message queue after a SC (Service Controller) failover, the following errors are returned when calling the saMsgQueueOpen() Application Programming Interface (API):
This can be reproduced by attemping to create/open a message queue on the new active node after the failure of the old active node.
Due to this issue, an SC failover will result in the inability to send any messages via message queues.
Active SC fails, standby SC becomes active.
