Missing Forecast In ASCP Workbench And Also Missing In View Collected Data (IE Data Collections Doesn't Collect The Forecast MDS Data) (Doc ID 1474866.1)

Last updated on JULY 25, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning - Version 11.5.10 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

There were no Forecast entries in the ASCP plan output for a particular Forecast Set/MDS that came from source MRP module.  Further review found the forecast entries were not showing up in View Collected Data (ie plan id = -1).  However the sales orders loaded into the same MDS in the source instance were collected as Order Type = Sales Order MDS and showed up in the ASCP plan output with the MDS attached as a demand schedule (Include Sales Order check box was disabled in this case).  Both the forecast and sales orders are viewable in the source MRP MDS.  Order Type = 6 - Sales Order MDS were accurately shown for the ASCP plan id as well as data collections plan id in table msc_demands.  However Order Type = 7 - Forecast MDS did not exist in msc_demands for the organization in question.

Users have several organizations where this data comes through successfully in data collections and the ASCP plan.  The problem occurs in only 1 organization

STEPS

1.  Load Copy Merge MDS to load forecast and sales orders for an organization
2.  Run data collections
3.  Sales order MDS data is collected and shown in the ASCP plan for the organization in question
4.  Forecast MDS does not show up in collections nor the plan for the organization in question
