How to identify if there are missing OIDs which may cause missing interfaces in a device discovery (Doc ID 1475349.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 10, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Communications IP Service Activator - Version 5.2.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Sometimes when using IPSA interfaces (especially new ones) do not show up in a device discovery. While this is a MIB problem and usually can be worked around by using snmpv1 often customers will raise an SR when the root problem is really a missing index in the MIB. This note shows an example script to identify the missing OIDs to clarify the cause of the issue.
