"Expected Identifier, String Or Number" or "Invalid Property Id" Errors After Migration (Doc ID 1475810.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 06, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Calendar Server - Version 7.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

I have a Calendar Server 6.3 installation with the latest patch (121657-52).  I have a user with a pretty large calendar (8K items) on it.  I migrated that calendar to a Calendar Server 7 installation (with patch 142785-06 installed) using the davadmin migration command.

Post-migration, the original calendar shows up with no problems in Calendar 6.3.  But, when the user uses the Calendar 7 instance and navigates to the "month" view, the user receives the following error depending upon if they're using IE or Firefox:

"Error: Expected identifier, string or number" with IE or "invalid property id" with Firefox

The week view displays correctly, which the exception of one of the weeks.  Further inspection shows that the problem can be narrowed down to a particular day in the week/month.

The problem is only being seen with this one calendar and we have not been able to reproduce or have seen the problem or error with any other calendar.
