Last updated on AUGUST 19, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 4.4.1 to 4.4.1 [Release 4.4]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

The diameterControlAgent(DCA) interface process, on the Service Logic Controller (SLC), reports the following error message for every Diameter Credit-Control-Request (CCR) message, where the CC-Request-Type(416) AVP (Attribute-Value Pairs) is set to the EVENT_REQUEST(4).

Example error message in SLC syslog file (/var/adm/messages):

Jul 19 05:13:37 slc01 diameterControlAgent: [ID 675952 user.error] diameterControlAgent(21979) ERROR: {960215} sessionFallback timer expired, Session-Id=<xyz>

The session fallback timer relates to DCA's sessionFallbackTcc configuration parameter.  Please refer to <note 1363808.1> - DiameterControlAgent (DCA) Frequently Reporting "Unknown Session-Id" Error Messages for more information on the sessionFallbackTcc parameter and its setting.

This issue was introduced in Network Charging and Control (NCC) version (Galaxy Patch Set 1 release).
