Primavera Portfolio Management Not Sending Email Alerts

Information in this document applies to any platform.
Alerts and "Send Page" options are not sending emails to the recipients. Instead, the email is held within the C:\Inetpub\mailroot\Pickup folder
When Alerts are triggered or the "Send Page" option is selected, and email should be sent to the recipients at that time.
