Can another instance to the same database be created in bridge console?

Customer would like to have two instances of the P6 Web Services running against the same P6 server. Each instance of the P6 Web Services would have a different URL, thereby bypassing the PPM Bridge Console which checks that any given P6 server appears only once in the connection list. The customer wants to do so because there is one particular category which they want updated only once a month whereas the majority of the data is updated on a daily schedule.

Business Case:
Customer would like to schedule a category to update via the OPPM bridge synch and would like to separate it and schedule to run once a month. It requires another connection to the SAME database. Is that possible?

Currently there is already an instance of a connection to the database that is used for daily syncs. But the requirement is not to include that category and to either manually or automatically run a synch on a separate instance to the same database.

Attempts have been made via the OPPM Bridge console, but was told when it came to enter the URL's for web services and web access that the URL's were duplicates and already exist.
