Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version 7.3.1.0.0 to 7.3.1.0.0 [Release 7.3.0]HP-UX Itanium (32-bit)
HP-UX Itanium
Goal
It is recommended in BRM documentation that array buffer should be used in HP-UX Itanium platform, because this type of buffer addresses performance and scalability.
An user has applied array buffer in all the buffer section (Buffer, InputBuffer, or OutputBuffer); however, Pipeline performance improvement is not in place.
Clarifications required on the following points:
1. Are there any other considerations while using array type of buffer?
2. When array type buffer is in use, is it OK to mix array type and Rogue Wave buffer or it has to be the same type in all the sections?
3. Does high value of SpinCount and YieldCount affect performance? What should be the starting value for these two parameters?
4. How SpinCount and YieldCount be used for array type of buffer?
