Wifp_meter_reading_interface batch log error: Error in . ORA-0000: normal, successful completion (Doc ID 1490284.1)

Last updated on MARCH 26, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management - Version 1.9.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

After the upgrade to Version 1.9, the log for the batch job wifp_meter_reading_interface procedure no longer logs how many asset records in the sa_runtime_log table were just updated or number of errors created. Now the log always reads:

'Error in . ORA-0000: normal, successful completion' -- every day.

The records are processing correctly, but the success failure count is not recorded

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Populate a record in the interface the table WAIF_METER_READING with valid data
2. Run the batch job wifp_meter_reading_interface
3. Confirm that the record was inserted in the Runtime Entry module (SA_RUNTIME_LOG)
4. Check the batch log- instead of showing a success count of 1 record, shows Error in . ORA-0000: normal, successful completion' --
