Unable to Reselect An Account After Sorting On Search Window Of Customer Center to Open The Account

Unable to open an account from Customer Center in following scenario:
In the search account dialog box,
1) Select an account
2) Sort by account number for instance
3) Click on open button without re-selecting the same account
To select the same account which is already highlighted after sorting, some other account has to be selected first before selecting the same account.
Otherwise this account would not be selected and will throw some error.
