Symptoms
In Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) infrastructure, you are updating Task descriptions in the Batches to make them more user friendly. However, after you update the Task description, the Task disappears from the interface. If there are multiple Tasks, all Tasks disappear. When you search for the Batch and select it a second time, the Task still is missing. Instead, it shows "No Data Found".
You may see a script error icon in the bottom, left corner. When you click on it, the following is displayed:
Line: 459
Char: 4
Error: Unterminated string constant
Code: 0
URL: http://<ipaddress>:<port>/atomic/icc/Batch/BatchMaintenance.jsp?
userid=<user>&dsn=<infodom>
Steps to Reproduce:
- Go to Operations > Batch Maintenance
- Search for an existing Batch
- Edit a Task under the batch and change the description
- Save
