Algorithm Type C1-RC-CLAMT Doesn't Work When Parameters Are Entered (Doc ID 1495774.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 14, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing - Version 2.3.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

C1-RC-CLAMT - "This algorithm type calculates the value of a rate component by summarizing the value of lines calculated by earlier rate components. You can limit the summarized lines to those calculated by rate components that are marked with a given characteristic type and value (specified using Rate Component Characteristic Type / Value). "For calculation purposes only" (FCPO) and summary lines are excluded from the calculation."

The algorithm is performing correctly when no parameters are entered to limit the summarized lines, however when using the characteristic to limit the summarized lines, the algorithm fails to execute and no charge is created. This is preventing charges from being created on the bill. NO workaround is known.
