Primavera P6 Analytics - Version R2 and later
Primavera P6 Reporting Database - Version R3.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When running the following query against the database as the star schema user (staruser):

select count(*) from table;
where table =
  1. W_ACTIVITY_RISK_D
  2. W_ACTIVITY_SPREAD_F
  3. W_PROJECT_D
  4. W_UDF_ACTIVITY_F
  5. W_RESOURCE_D
  6. W_RESOURCE_ASSIGNMENT_SPREAD_F
  7. W_RESOURCE_LIMIT_F
  8. W_RESOURCE_ROLE_D

The total count returned differs from the total count when using the OBIEE Administration Tool, opening the repository file in 'Online Mode' and logging into the tool with an OBIEE user account. (Example, when right-clicking a table and selecting 'Update Row Count' or selecting 'View Data' the row counts display a total count of 0 or does not display any data when if viewing the table, even though there are rows in the table)

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
For the total count or data returned when logging into the OBIEE Administration Tool with an OBIEE user to return the same total count of records when running a count against the table as the schema owner (star user).
