OSM : AssignOrder API Doesn't Work (Doc ID 1500157.1)

Symptoms

OSM : AssignOrder API doesn't work:

We have a requirement where in a Manual Task needs to be assigned to a specific user. We are making use of the “AssignOrder” XMLAPI call to achieve the same.

We have been successful in implementing this for OSM's internal users like osmadmin, oms-automation etc. However, we are unable to Assign the task to a Custom User (the task assignment is working fine for OSM users like osmadmin, osm-automation, osm, etc).
The following error is being thrown while trying to assign the task to the Custom User, User: testUser is not recognized.

Our Custom User (testUser in our case), has been assigned to all the Groups in Weblogic Console.
“SupportRole” (An OSM Workgroup) has been given permissions to the Manual task and we have added “testUser“ to this WorkGroup as well (in OSM Admin).

The AssignOrder API does not recognize the username(if a different case is used).
