Some Passwords Are Not Working For MMP And Messaging Server (Doc ID 1502483.1)

Symptoms

Login failures on accounts with special characters in their password, for example:  passé

A UTF-8 error is returned when the authentication failed:

 

Changes

 In this particular case, the customer was moving from a mail system that accepted additional character sets during authentication.
