How to Use New Export to Excel Features in ASCP Plans (Doc ID 1502914.1)

Goal

Introduction

In VCP 12.1.3.8 we introduced new functionality for the ASCP planner workbench and ways to work with the plan.

These new features are covered in the Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning Implementation and User's Guide Supplement, Part No. E26758-03, September 2012, See Section - General Features

This new supplement is available via Oracle Value Chain Planning (VCP) Readme, Release 12.1.3.8 (Document 1462296.1)

Note: Guide to all documentation for VCP applications for 12.1.3 is in Document 964316.1

 

Three new User features are:

    1. Export to Excel  - Which is addressed in this note
    2. Planner Workbench Editable Plans - this is an extension of the ASCP workbench which leverages APCC (Advanced Planning Command Center) setups to give you more information and editable "APCC-style" worksheets.
    3. Project / Task Query - new criteria have been introduced for Order Type queries available in the Query Pane of the Workbench Navigator (the new criteria are Planning Group, Project, and Task)
