In Objectel Metadata Editor, Objectel Built Expression is not working

Created the following expression in the Metadata Editor:
_this._parent._children_type_count[LINKPRT] < 5.

Requirement is to limit the number of link ports that can be placed on the ODF type of equipment, but the rule is not enforced.
