Goal
Why does the Batch Run Tree show the number of records in error growing but at the end after the final commit the number of errors is equal to zero.
Solution
If a batch is configured to create To Do's for errors instead of logging them in the batch run tree, it will accumulate the error counter as it goes along, but this will get reset at the end because no messages were logged.
