When you see messages like the following:

[13/Nov/2012:01:54:44 +0000] watcher [<pid>]: Watched 'imapd' process <pid> exited abnormally
[13/Nov/2012:01:54:44 +0000] (Notice) Received request to restart: store purge imap pop
[13/Nov/2012:01:54:44 +0000] (Notice) Connecting to watcher ...
[13/Nov/2012:01:54:44 +0000] (Error) store failed twice in 600 seconds, will not perform restart

You MUST restart stored, as well as the process(es) which crashed.
