The WSDL Is Rejected As It Misses The Attribute 'name' In The Element 'fault' (Doc ID 1507520.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 18, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 4.3.0 to 4.4.0 [Release 4.3 to 4.4]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The WSDL file generated when the Generate WSDL for operation checkbox is ticked, while saving a Control Plan triggered by the OSD (Open Services Development) component, does not include the name attribute in the fault element.

In that case, the W3C wsdlvalidator errors when it tries to validate the WSDL file.

Reproduction procedure

Save a control plan, linking it to an Operation.

  1. Open up the Control Plan

Make sure to select the OSD Operation to be linked to this Control Plan at this stage.
