Combobox Remains Blank After Selection On Android MDT Devices (Doc ID 1509032.1)

Symptoms

Sometimes, after selecting an item from a combo box field, the selection is not displayed in the combo box field and it remains blank. This only occurs on Android devices and not Windows mobile.
We have only detected the inconvenience in customized combo boxes defined as "lookups". For example:

 

This has occured on a device with the following specifications:
Android Device: Motorola Atrix
Model: MB860
Android Version: 2.2.2
Kernel Version: 2.6.32.9
