Global Scheduled Services or Project Publication is Failing with the Error: "Connection has been recycled. Database PMDB Pool PML" (Doc ID 1510954.1)

When Project Publication is enabled in P6, one or many of the Project log files in P6_home\p6\WebAccessLogs\services\jt_project is marked as Failed. (Eg. 3843_04.05.2013-14.33.28_FAILED.log). The message in the log file is similar to 'Io exception: Socket read time out' and 'Connection has been recycled. Database Pool PML'.

In P6 Global Scheduled Services, Publish Security, Publish Enterprise Data and Publish Enterprise Summaries are failing with 'Io exception: Socket read timed out' and 'Connection has been recycled. Database Pool PML'.

The status of the Global Scheduled jobs shows 'Failed'

Also there are errors like the following that are captured in the P6webaccess.html log file, that will have the same cause:

A Threadpool thread PrmThread-1 was determined to be non responsive, a new thread has been created. On a side note, check your Maximum Task Duration and Maximum Long Running Task Duration values under ThreadPool settings
