Pricing Center Unable To Commit Price Plan List With " - " (Hyphen Character)

Symptoms
This problem happens on BRM 7.4 PS7 Pricing Center.
Some price plan components imported from Portal v6.2 containing dash " - " (space on each side). After loading the price plan list, removing one plan from the list, and committing using the Pricing Center GUI, the price plan list name (which contains these chars " - ") is truncated before these chars and a copy with the truncated name is committed. The debug log confirms this behavior.
Theory: the " - " is used for " - adddon", " - new" and other identifiers appended to the price plan list name. The Pricing Center fails to validate the use of " - " and commits a copy with the shortened name.
For example, name of price plan list:
"xyz-1 Web Hosting Package - First Year Discounted"
It is truncated to
"xyz-1 Web Hosting Package"
