Last updated on MARCH 06, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications Infrastructure - Version 7.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA)

Symptoms

In Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) Infrastructure, you have migrated your ESIC (External Scheduler Interface Component) server processes from one environment (source) to another environment (target).  When you run the ESIC executable on the target environment, it fails to initialize.  The following error is output to the log file in $FIC_APP_HOME/icc/log:

FATAL::ClsReadCfgForIccInterface::Init::No Field Seperator Found in Line :
FATAL::clsIccInterface::Init::Unable to Init Config File

The executable works successfully on the source environment and all files have the same size between the two environments.

You have already applied <Patch 11828690> "ESIC ERROR WHILE LOADING SHARED LIBRARIES LIBICCINTERFACE.SO: ELF FILE" to your environment.
