Calendar Server 7 - How Do You Create A Resource Calendar With "LDAP Tools"? (Doc ID 1514235.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 15, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Calendar Server - Version 7.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

What are the "LDAP tools"?  How do I use them to perform the task at hand?

For example, the following is described in the Calendar Server 7 Administration Guide -https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E63133_01/doc.80/e63136/csadm_administer.htm#CSVAG157

Entities that can be scheduled but that do not control their own attendance status are called resources. You provision resources in LDAP, either with LDAP tools or by using Delegated Administrator. Once provisioned, the actual calendars are automatically created on first invite, if auto-creation is enabled. You can also create the calendar account with the default calendar for the provisioned resource by using the davadmin account create command.
