Symptoms

The number of database connections is increasing until login is not possible anymore on Allocation user interface.

Steps to recreate

allocation.properties setup

pool.initial=20
pool.min=10
pool.max=40
pool.sqltrace=TRUE
pool.sqltracelevel=1
pool.implicitCache=false
enable_conn_pool_monitor=true
calculationQueuePollingInterval=10000
unLock.minutes=10
refreshConnOnIOException=true

1. Access allocation application
2. Click on "Search Items to Locate"
3. Select "Purchase Order (PO)", select for field "Expected From: / To:" the values "01/10/2012" - "31/10/2012", select one warehouse and click on search.
4. After some time of processing, user clicks on link "Home" (before the results return). The log (allocation.out) shows that "Active Connections" values was "40" (same value from pool.max parameter). After this, it was not possible to log in application or do any action inside it.
