I have a scenario in which the Product Family has a forecast that is being consumed by the members’ sales order.
My current results show that we first explode and then consume. For a LOCAL forecast, how can we first consume and then explode? I know we can consume and explode for a global forecast. Can the same be done with a local forecast. Release is
Following is the scenario:
Product Family GDFORD – Forecast Control = Consume
Product Family Members ‘gdedge’ and ‘gdexplorer’ – Forecast Control = Consume and Derive
Forecast for PRODUCT FAMILY: 100
Allocation Percentage: gdedge: 60%
                                gdexplorer: 40%
Sales Orders              gdedge: 20
                                gdexplorer: 70
Consumed Forecasts:  gdedge: 20
                                gdexplorer: 40
Planned Orders:         gdedge: 40
                                gdexplorer: 70
See the unconsumed portion (i.e. 10) to be exploded to 4 for gdexplorer and 6 for gdedge.
So get planned orders
gdedge 24
gdexplorer 76
